Nursing Homes Summit
About this workshop :
Rethinking how we care for our seniors : a workshop to contribute to shaping the future of nursing homes, dedicated to visions and strategies to transform Residential Care Facilities for Dependent Elderly.
This panel discussion will bring together experts from various fields such as health, technology, activities in nursing homes, architecture, and social policy. They will share their visions for the future of nursing homes, exploring themes such as integrating technology to enhance care, designing living spaces tailored to the needs of elderly residents, innovative approaches to promote mental and physical well-being, and the necessary policies to support these changes.
Among the approaches of this participatory workshop :
– Human FIRST : The nursing home of the future will only exist through a resident-centered approach, focusing on their rights and ethics.
– Open Nursing Homes : Towards open facilities, integrating “out-of-facility” services.
– Reset BOOMER : The profile of nursing home residents is changing significantly. Just as neighborhood houses were invented for Baby Boomers, Boomers will reinvent Retirement Homes !
This workshop is an opportunity to delve into the future of nursing homes, learn from key opinion leaders, and participate in envisioning how we can improve the quality of life for seniors.
This workshop is part of the planned program for the SilverEco & Ageing Well International Festival 2024 // Nursing Homes Summit
