Living at Home Summit
About this podcast :
This podcast will explore the adaptation of housing for seniors by addressing the challenges related to an aging population, such as mobility and health issues, which require modifications to preserve the autonomy of elderly people. The proposed solutions, such as automated access and securing spaces with cameras, detectors, and alarm systems, aim to make homes safer and more comfortable. The goal is to meet the specific needs of seniors while facilitating remote management for caregivers.
The systems developed by Nice enable automated management of comfort (temperature, lighting, shutters) and offer flexible, scalable, and easy-to-install solutions. They are suitable for both individual homes and collective residences, thus contributing to maintaining the autonomy and dignity of seniors. These technologies address future challenges by simplifying the daily lives of elderly people while ensuring their safety and well-being.
This podcast is part of the planned program for the SilverEco & Ageing Well International Festival 2024 // Living at Home Summit
