Healthy Ageing Summit

About this workshop:

This discussion will focus on iCope, an innovative tool developed by the World Health Organization to monitor and enhance the health and well-being of older adults.

Through this programme, a number of applications have been developed by the Toulouse University Hospital (iCope Monitor), TELEGRAFIK (iCope et Moi) and La Poste (Digicope) and have been implemented in a number of areas in France, in addition to their origins.

Bringing together experts in public health, gerontology, and health technology, along with representatives from the WHO, this panel discussion will delve into how iCope can help identify older individuals at risk of functional decline and implement supportive interventions.

Topics will include the importance of monitoring functional capacity in older adults, unique features of iCope, its use in various healthcare contexts, and its potential to improve the health and quality of life of older individuals.

This workshop is part of the planned program for the SilverEco & Ageing Well International Festival 2024 // Healthy Ageing Summit
