According to a survey by Bankrate.com, high medical expenses in old age are the most worrisome factor for Americans, as 28% deem them their “biggest financial worry at retirement”.
Additionally, 23% of respondents worry about their saving running out; 18% believe they won’t be able to afford daily expenses.
When asked about the main reason why they won’t save money for retirement, 33% of respondents said they had just enough money for their daily expenses.
